Advanced Diver certification is offered in one of two options.
The Advanced Open Water Diver will be automatically granted to divers holding 4 specialty program certifications with 24 or more logged dives.
The Advanced Adventurer program allows you to experience five dives from the SSI specialty programs without requiring you to complete the entire specialty.

The Advanced Open Water Diver is the recommended path for the diver seeking to improve his skills and prepare himself for higher levels. The Advanced Adventurer program is suited for divers with more limited time.
